The beginning of the 2005 excavation season at Tel Rehov is just days away! My friend Mandy and I were asked to help one of the area directors, Naama, open a new area on the upper mound. Rehov is a large tell and consists of an upper and lower mound. It has been some time since an area has been excavated on the upper mound and I am excited to be a part of it. This is also a good sign that we have plenty of volunteers!
